Singing Men Of America

Since 1972, Musical Ministries, Inc. has been assisting churches and other organizations to better fulfill God's calling in their various ministries. With audio and video equipment and expertise, M.M.I. has been helping to spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In 1992, God called together a new and expanded ministry as part of Musical Ministries, Inc. Known as Singing Men of America (S.M.O.A.), this organization would greatly impact this nation in two vital areas.

The first of these is to challenge men to stand up and be counted as a man of God who is not ashamed to be seen as a servant of Jesus Christ. For much too long, men have been content to "sit back and let someone else do it." Squarely on the shoulders of the men of this nation rests the hope of these United States.

The second area of impact is to reach our nation with the Gospel of Christ Jesus and His love in true harmony. Through organized chapters of S.M.O.A. to be located in major cities across our country, our Lord's call for unity will be further realized as men from different denominations join their voices together to proclaim Him Lord and Savior, extolling the sound doctrine resonating in the music and hymns of the Church. If the Barbershoppers can have over 800 chapters across North America singing about "the good old summer time", shouldn't there be at least as many chapters of S.M.O.A. proclaiming the "Good News" in every season?

Having been made citizens of Heaven by His grace and mercy alone, we are humbled and convicted to remind our nation's citizens of the sacrifices given by men and women "who, more than self, their country loved" to secure the freedoms we all tend to take for granted. As much as we love this country, we must also be equally vigilant against the forces and powers bent on destroying it. Along with sharing this solemn responsibility, we receive the greatest joy through the fellowship we experience in serving Christ. The wives also participate in planning the sight-seeing and shopping trips when accompanying their husbands on extended travels, and enjoying their own fellowship together during rehearsals.

Your donations are used entirely for the ministry, as the men pay their own way for trips under 50 miles and their uniforms. As administration of Musical Ministries, Inc. is volunteered, 100% of your donation is used for outreach and is tax deductible.
